Forever Together Wins US Gr1 Diana Handicap

Also in New York, former Widden Stud shuttler Belong To Me (Danzig-Belonging, by Exclusive Native) added a US Gr1 triumph when 4YO mare Forever Together (Belong To Me-Constant Companion, by Relaunch) finished strongly from the rear of the field to score a 0.75-length victory in the US$500,000 Gr1 Diana Handicap (9 furlongs on turf) for fillies & mares at Saratoga. Kentucky-bred Forever Together (ridden by Julien Leparoux for trainer Jonathan Sheppard) defeated 5YO mare Dynaforce (Dynaformer-Aletta Maria, by Diesis) & Gr1-winning 4YO mare Rutherienne (Pulpit-Ruthian, by Rahy). Previously this season Forever Together won May's Listed Reluctant Guest Stakes (8 furlongs on turf) at Arlington Park in Chicago & finished 3rd in June's Gr1 Just A Game Handicap (8 furlongs on turf) at Belmont Park; & last season she won both the US Gr2 Forward Gal Stakes (7 furlongs) at Gulfstream Park & Listed Ocala Breeders' Sales Filly Sprint Stakes (6 furlongs). Overall she now has 5 wins from 11 starts for US$575,300 earnings.
