Linngari Wins German Gr1 Bayerisches Zuchtrennen

In Germany overnight, Irish-bred 6YO entire Linngari (Indian Ridge-Lidakiya, by Kahyasi) scored a 2-lengths victory in the €155,000 (A$264,000) Gr1 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis Bayerisches Zuchtrennen (2000m) at Munich. Linngari (ridden by Ryan Moore for trainer Sir Michael Stoute) defeated Italian-bred 5YO entire Pressing (Soviet Star-Rafif, by Riverman) & 5YO mare Fair Breeze (Silvano-Fairwind, by Andrang). Last year Linngari (bred by the Aga Khan) won Italy's Gr1 Premio Vittorio Di Capua (1600m) at San Siro in Milan & finished runner up in the Gr1 Dubai Duty Free at Nad Al Sheba; & in 2006 he finished runner-up in France's Gr1 Prix de la Foret (1400m) at Longchamp.
