1st Winner For US Freshman Sire Distinction

Oklahoma-based 9YO freshman sire Distinction (Seattle Slew-Omi, by Wild Again) recorded his 1st winner when 2YO filly Phantom's Diva (Distinction-Freshly Minted, by Key To The Mint) led all-the-way to scored by 3.75-lengths on debut over 4 furlongs at Fair Meadows in Tulsa for trainer Mike Teel, reported thoroughbredtimes.com. Distinction (a half-brother to stakes-winner Brushed Bayou) stood the 2008 season for at Mighty Acres in Oklahoma & has 22 2YOs in his 1st-crop. On the track, Distinction won 3 of 21 starts.
