Hussonet Son To Call Australia Home

Wednesday, 30th July 2008

Young US Gr2-winning stallion Seinne (Hussonet-White Lady, by Worldwatch) will permanently relocate to WA's Gingin-based Cromartry Park in time for the start of the 2008 breeding season. This follows a whirlwind trip to Kentucky by Cromartry Park principal Olga McKenzie to ensure the smooth transition of his quarantine procedures. McKenzie commented: "He looks in outstanding shape & is totally ready to start his stud duties." Multiple Gr1-performed in Chile, 7-time-winner Seinne left his mark in the US with several Graded-placings plus his turf victory in the Gr2 Santa Anita Arcadia Handicap (1600m) in California. His sire is boom Arrowfield Stud stallion Hussonet (father locally of Gr1 winners Weekend Hussler & Reaan) while Seinne is himself a half-brother to Gr1-performed Clasical Lady (out of multiple Gr1-placed stakes-winner White Lady). Cromartry's 2008 stallion roster also includes Investor's Dream (FOA), Lord's A Leaping ($3,500) & Redoutable ($4,000).
