Minnesota Yearlings: Average Down 17.7%

Overall in Minnesota, 30 horses sold for US$189,400 (down 48.6% on last year's 48 sold for US$368,200). The US$6,313 average was down 17.7% (last year US$7,671) & the US$4,100 median was down 19.6% (last year US$5,100). The buy-back rate was 54.5% "with 36 of the 66 yearlings offered failing to find new homes," reported bloodhorse.com.
