Savoir Bien Wins Argentina Gr1 1000 Guineas

In South America, Haras Santa Maria de Araras home-bred Savoir Bien (Bernstein-Savilla, by Numerous) scored a 3-lengths victory in Argentina's Gr1 Gran Premio Mil Guineas-Consagracion De Potrancas (1000 Guineas) over 1600m on turf for 3YO fillies at San Isidro in Buenos Aires. Savoir Bien (trained by Carlos Daniel Etchechoury) defeated Cayaya (Slew Gin Fizz-Candy's Breeze, by Candy Stripes) & Dando Amor (Thunder Gulch-Declaring Love, by Gone West). Previously this year Savoir Bien finished: runner-up in March's Argentine Gr1 Gran Premio Saturnino J. Unzue (1200m on dirt) at Hipodromo Argentino de Palermo; then won April's Gr1 Gran Premio Eliseo Ramirez (1400m on turf) at San Isidro; also won May's Gr1 Gran Premio Jorde De Atucha (1500m on dirt) at Palermo; & most recently finished runner-up in June's Gr1 Gran Premio estrellas Juvenile Fillies (1600m on turf) at Palermo.
