In New Zealand, the 1st foal by Brighthill Farm-based Gr1-winning Australian-bred sire Perfectly Ready (More Than Ready-Elle Duccio, by Danehill) is a filly from Straight Lake, bred by Marilyn Kent & foaled at Gordon Cunningham's Curraghmore Stud, reported NZ Thoroughbred Marketing. Perfectly Ready (who covered 137 mares last year & already has 140 booked for the 2008 season) retired with 4 wins from 1000-1400m (including the 2006 Gr1 Goodwood Handicap over 1200m at Morphettville & Gr3 Harolds 101 Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield, plus the 2005 Gr3 Blue Diamond Prelude) & 4 placings (including the 2006 Gr1 Manikato Stakes, Gr3 Bobbie Lewis Quality & Listed Concept Sports Stakes, plus the 2005 Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes) from 15 starts for earnings of A$685,650.
