Danehill Dancer Adds 2nd Irish Gr3

Coolmore shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added yet another Irish group success (plus the runner-up) overnight when 4YO gelding Snaefell (Danehill Dancer-Sovereign Grace, by Standaan) scored by a head in the €75,000 (A$128,000) Gr3 Phoenix Sprint Stakes (6 furlongs) at Leopardstown. Snaefell (ridden by Rory Cleary for trainer Michael Halford) defeated 3YO colt Georgebernardshaw (Danehill Dancer-Khamseh, by Thatching) & 3YO filly Kyniska (Choisir-Lunadine, by Bering). Earlier this year Snaefell also win April's Irish Listed Woodlands Stakes (5 furlongs) at Naas; & last year he won the Listed Bud Light Stakes. Overall Snaefell now has 5 wins & 5 placings from 19 starts for £145,754 (A$306,000) earnings.
