Deauville Yearlings Day-1: $680k Oratorio Colt

Coolmore agent Demi O'Byrne paid €400,000 (A$680,000) for the 1st yearling auctioned from the 1st-crop of triple Gr1-winning Coolmore shuttler Oratorio (out of Alysheba mare Moonlight Dance) consigned from Lord Lloyd-Webber's Watership Down Stud. The colt's dam Moonlight Dance won France's Gr1 Prix Saint-Alary & Coolmore boss John Magnier commented: "His catalogue page says it all & he's a particularly good-walker, like his sire."
