Deauville Yearlings Day-1: $799k Cape Cross Colt

Sheikh Mohammed's agent John Ferguson also paid €470,000 (A$799,000) for a colt by Darley shuttler Cape Cross (out of Alysheba mare Hint Of Silver) consigned from Haras de la Louviere. The colt is a "half-brother to this season's high-class 3YO High Rock," noted racingpost.co.uk.
