Deauville Yearlings Day-2: $918k Green Tune Filly

Angus Gold (again acting for Sheikh Hamdam's Shadwell France) also paid €540,000 (A$918,000) for a Green Tune filly (out of Green Desert mare Green Delight) consigned from Haras du Grandcamp. This filly (a half-sister to 2 stakes-performers) hails from the family of multiple Gr1-winning Japanese champion Deep Impact & Gold told racingpost.co.uk: "I saw her at the farm 3 weeks ago & loved her. She has lots of class, but I didn't expect her to make that amount of money! Green Tune produces solid results & we have the 2YO half-brother by Linamix, who has already shown that he has ability."
