6th Winner for Mare Joolzy
Friday, 22nd August 2008
Also on yesterday's Bendigo card, now 21-year-old mare Joolzy (Noble Bijou-Bon Et Vite, by Imposing) recorded her 6th winner from 7 starters when Bob Scarborough's 3YO filly Jujube (Encosta De Lago-Joolzy) won over 1400m for trainer Peter Moody. Her dam Joolzy's other progeny include her Gr1-winner & multiple Gr2-victor Marble Halls, plus daughter Tigereye (dam of 2007 Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Sleek Chassis). Last year Joolzy produced a full-brother to Jujube, before being covered by 5-time Gr1-winning Blue Gum Farm sire Elvstroem.
