Goffs Yearlings Day-2: $510k Indian Ridge Colt

Wednesday, 1st October 2008

Shadwell Estates paid €300,000 (A$510,000) for a colt from the final crop of Indian Ridge (out of Sadler's Wells mare Tutu Much) consigned from Hawthorn Villa Stud. The colt previously sold for 90,000 guineas (A$198,000) at last year's Tattersalls December Foal sale & Shadwell's Stephen Collins told racingpost.co.uk: "He's from the final crop of a top sire. He's a lovely athletic individual out a mare whose dam Filia Ardross was a champion in Germany. Filia Ardoss herself produced a champion 2YO in Sunspangled: it's a good family."
