Miss Scarlatti Wins UCI Stakes

Former Coolmore-owned Cambridge Stud shuttler Stravinsky (Nureyev-Fire The Groom, by Blushing Groom) produced a further stakes winner when filly Miss Scarlatti (Stravinsky-Crimson, by Zabeel) scored in the $125,000 Listed UCI Stakes (1800m) for 3YOs at Flemington. Dwayne Dunn had the winning ride for trainer Lee Freedman aboard Miss Scarlatti who defeated colt Wookah (Encosta de Lago-High Heels, by Canny Lad) & gelding Larry's Never Late (Pentire-Laebeel, by Zabeel). A $520,000 yearling consigned by Cambridge Stud at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast, Miss Scarlatti has won 2 of her 5 starts for $88,380 earnings.
