Vettori Adds Brazil Black-Type

In South America, former Baramul Stud shuttler Vettori (Machiavellian-Air Distingue, by Sir Ivor) added a Brazilian black-type success when Gr1-winning 4YO entire Do Canada (Vettori-Notizia, by Pallazzi) scored by a head in the Listed Classico Alberto Santos Dumont (1600m on turf) at Hipodromo Cidade Jardim in Sao Paulo. Do Canada (ridden by Matheus Quintana for trainer Lucas Quintana) defeated fellow 4YO entire Hariolus (Impression-Cayenne Pepper, by Trempolino) & 3YO colt Kapo Di Tutti (Redattore-Granny's Pie, by Ghadeer). During 2007, Do Canada won Brazil's Gr1 Grande Premio Jija Adhemar De Almeida Prado (1600m on turf) at Gavea, Gr2 Grande Premio Conde de Herzberg (1500m on turf) at Gavea & Listed Clasico Jose Calmon (1200m on dirt) at Gavea, as well as finishing runner-up in both the Gr1 Grande Premio Linneo De Paula Machado (2000m on turf) at Gavea & Gr1 Grande Premio Associacao Brasileira De Criadores E Proprietarios Do Cavalo De Corrida (1600m on turf) at Gavea, plus finishing 3rd in the Listed Clasico Hernani Azevedo Silva (1100m on dirt) at Gavea.
