4 Aust-Breds Win In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 4 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Happy Valley:

  • 5YO gelding Bulb Treasure (Canny Lad-Century Bird, by Century) won over 1650m for trainer Gary Ng. Bulb Treasure was a $65,000 yearling consigned by Haunui Farm at the 2005 NZ Bloodstock Premier Sale.
  • 8YO gelding Dr Well (Danehill-Tamarind Tree, by Last Tycoon) won over 1800m for trainer Michael Chang. Dr Well was a $320,000 yearling bred by Swettenham Stud at the 2002 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 4YO gelding Amazing Choisir (Choisir-Lisa's Fast Step, by Alwuhush) won over 1650m for trainer Caspar Fownes. Amazing Choisir was a $100,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 5YO gelding Billion (Kbenjar-Bedrock Babe, by Northern Fred) won over 1650m for trainer Francis Lui. Billion was a $30,000 2YO at the 2005 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
