Tamayuz To Stand At Derrinstown In Ireland

Friday, 10th October 2008

Sheikh Hamdan al Maktoum's Shadwell home-bred & this season's dual Gr1-winning 3YO colt Tamayuz (Nayef-Al Ishq, by Nureyev) will begin stallion duties next season at Derrinstown Stud in Ireland, reported racingpost.co.uk. Tamayuz defeated older rivals to win France's Gr1 Prix du Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard-Jacques le Marois (1600m) at Deauville in August, following victories in France's Gr1 Prix Jean Prat (1600m) at Chantilly in July & Gr3 Prix De Fontainebleau (1600m) at Longchamp in April. Tamayuz "hails from the immediate family of Galileo, King's Best & Anabaa Blue, all of whom have produced Gr1-winners this season," noted the-racehorse.com.
