Flymetothemoon Wins Brazil Gr1 Machado

In South America, Haras Doce Vale's home-bred colt Flymetothemoon (Roi Normand-Onefortheroad, by Ghadeer) notched his 3rd successive win for a 3.75-lengths victory in Brazil's Gr1 Grande Premio Linneo De Paula Machado-Gran Criterium (2000m on turf) for 3YOs at Hipodromo La Gavea in Rio de Janeiro. Flymetothemoon (ridden by Elizandro Costa for trainer Venancio Nahid) defeated fellow colts Hot Six (Burooj-Babysix, by With Approval) & Olympic Rules (Roi Normand-Miss Kin, by Laramie). Last month Flymetothemoon (a full brother to both Brazil's 2007 Gr1 Grande Premio Diana-Brazilian Oaks winner Eissoai & Brazilian Gr1-winner Ay Caramba) also won Brazil's Listed Clasico Jusica Do Trabalho (2000m on turf) at Gavea & overall now has 3 wins from 6 starts.
