3 Aust-Bred Winners In New Zealand

On the track in NZ yesterday, 3 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Pukekohe:

  • 3YO filly Miss Brahms (Brahms-Finders Keepers, by Danasinga) won over 1200m for trainer Craig Thornton. Miss Brahms was a $5,000 yearling at th 2007 Inglis/Pitt, Son & Keene Sale & subsequently passed-in for NZ$23,000 as a 2YO at the 2007 NZ Bloodstock Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO entire Gembra (Ignatius-Social Graces, by Sea Road) won over 1200m for trainer Toni Croon. Gembra was a $13,500 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently passed-in for NZ$30,000 at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 3YO filly Shanzero (Danzero-Arising, by Marauding) won over 1200m for trainer Richard Collett. Shanzero was a $220,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
