Elvstroem Leg Injury Delays Mating Schedule

Meanwhile 5-time Gr1-winning Blue Gum Farm sire Elvstroem (Danehill-Circles Of Gold) "has had a hiccup in his breeding season, suffering a leg injury" last week, with Blue Gum "advising broodmare owners he could be out for between 2-6 weeks," reported The Sydney Morning Herald. Elvstroem's 1st-crop yearlings have been extremely popular at this year's sales, with 62 lots selling at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale, Inglis Easter Sydney Sale, Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale & NZ Bloodstock Karaka Premier Sale for more than $5.9 million: an average of more than $95,000.
