Bandari Euthanased At Peria Stud

Sheikh Hamdan's multiple group-winning stallion Bandari (Alhaarth-Miss Audimar, by Mr Leader) was euthanased at Ireland's Peria Stud after standing "a single season at County Waterford-based operation," reported racingpost.co.uk. On the track, Bandari won 11 of 33 races & £547,045 (A$1.148m) prize-money: his highlights included victories in the Gr2 Hardwicke Stakes, Gr2 Princess Of Wales's Stakes, Gr2 Great Voltigeur Stakes, Gr3 Brigadier Gerard Stakes, Gr3 Lingfield Derby Trial, Gr3 Gordon Stakes & Listed Huxley Stakes; plus placings in the German Gr1 Rheinland-Pokal der Sparkasse KolnBonn, Gr1 UK St Leger, Gr2 Princess Of Wales's Stakes, Gr2 Jockey Club Stakes twice, Gr3 Cumberland Lodge Stakes & Gr3 September Stakes.
