Amelia's Dream Begins Comeback At Muskoka Farm

Thursday, 23rd October 2008

In Sydney, trainer Gai Waterhouse reported her unbeaten boom filly Amelia's Dream (Redoute's Choice-Shalt Not, by St Covet) has begun "light trotting & cantering around the 2700m track" at Muskoka Farm, following treatment at the Randwick Equine Centre for a "non-displaced fracture of the sesamoid" after winning the Silver Slipper Stales in March & then a lengthy recuperation program at Muskoka. Amelia's Dream (a $250,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast) won her February debut at Canterbury by 10-lengths & then March's Gr2 Silver Slipper Stakes over 1100m at Rosehill by 6.25-lengths, before injury sidelined the remainder of her juvenile campaign when hot favourite for the Gr1 Golden Slipper.
