French Yearlings Day-3: $295k Anabaa Filly

In France overnight, trainer David Smaga paid top price of €155,000 (A$295,000) for a filly by former Widden Stud shuttler Anabaa (out of Top Ville mare Dame Edith) during the final session of the 3-day Arqana October Yearling Sale at Deauville. The filly (already named Lumiere Du Soir) is a half-sister to dual Gr1-winner Voix Du Nord & was consigned from Neustrian Associates as part of the dispersal of Smaga's former patron Baron Van Zuylen.
