Kitten's Joy & Catienus Cut As Ramsey Lowers Stud Fees

Multiple Gr1-winner Kitten's Joy (El Prado-Kitten's First, by Lear Fan) was the 2004 champion grass horse & will stand for US$20,000 (having stood in 2008 at US$30,000). Catienus (Storm Cat-Diamond City, by Mr Prospector) will stand for US$10,000 in 2009 (after standing in 2008 for US$15,000); Catienus is the sire of multiple Gr1-winner Precious Kitten, Gr1-winner Dawn Of War & multiple Gr1-placed stakes-winner Talent Search. Ramsey manager Mark Partridge commented: "Our 2 stallions reflect great value for breeders & we support both of them strongly with our best mares. We reduced fees for both of them to show support for breeders."
