Millbank Wins Wonderful World Stakes

NZ Cambridge Stud's Australian-bred stallion Keeper (Danehill-Nuwirah, by Pleasant Colony) added a group success when gelded son Millbank (Keeper-Woodini, by Woodman) scored a 1-length victory in the $125,000 Gr3 Wonderful World Stakes (1200m) for 3YOs at Moonee Valley. Favourite Millbank (ridden by Steven Arnold for trainer John Sadler) defeated fellow gelding Gold In Dubai (Desert Sun-Rory's Song, by Rory's Jester) & the filly Montana Flyer (Fying Spur-Montana Downs, by Bluebird). Millbank (a NZ$64,000 yearling at the 2007 NZB Select Sale at Karaka) now has 3 wins from 4 starts for $96,750 earnings.
