Coolmore's 7-time Gr1-winning shuttler Rock Of Gibraltar (Danehill-Offshore Boom, by Be My Guest) added a US black-type success when 4YO ridgeling English Colony (Rock Of Gibraltar-Jemima, by Owington) scored a 3.5-lengths victory in the US$77,000 Listed Daly Stakes (7 furlongs on turf) at Belmont Park. English Colony (ridden by Eddie Castro for trainer Angel Penna) defeated 5YO gelding Prince Woodman (Woodman-Queen Mama, by Seattle Slew) & 4YO gelding Perfect Casting (Diesis-Seasonal Style, by Generous). Last year English Colony also won both the US Listed Lights And Music Stakes (7 furlongs on turf) at Belmont & Listed Inside The Belt Way Stakes (6 furlongs on turf) at Belmont. Overall English Colony now has 5 wins from 8 starts for US$210,890 earnings.
