Tale Of the Cat Adds US Black-Type

In the US, Coolmore shuttler Tale Of The Cat (Storm Cat-Yarn, by Mr Prospector) added a black-type success when favoured 4YO daughter Queen Ofthe Catsle (Tale Of The Cat-Kiawah Queen, by Lord At War) notched her 4th successive victory with a half-length win in the US$75,000 Listed Dance In The Mood Stakes (6 furlongs on turf) for fillies & mares at Hollywood Park in California. Top-weighted Queen Of the Catsle (ridden by Victor Espinoza for trainer Howard Zucker) defeated front-running 5YO mare Kalookan Dancer (Olympio-Desert Ballet, by Moscow Ballet) & fellow 4YO mare America's Friend (Unusual Heat-Bel Air Belle, by Runaway Groom). At her previous start, Queen Of the Catsle won the Gr3 Senator Ken Maddy Handicap (6.5 furlongs on turf) at Santa Anita on October 4, after also winning September's Listed Daisycutter Handicap (5 furlongs on turf) at Del Mar. Overall she now has 6 wins & 5 runners-up from 13 starts for US$300,509 earnings.
