More Bountiful Half-Sister At NZB Karaka Sale
Newmarket Lodge Stud is offering a filly (by Towkay) during the Festival session of the upcoming NZ Bloodstock Yearling Sale series at Karaka who is a half-sister to 4YO gelding More Bountiful (Van Nistelrooy-Centaine Gu Li, by Centaine), runner-up (by a short-head) in last weekend's Hong Kong Gr1 Mercedes Benz Classic Mile (1600m) at Sha Tin, after notching 5 successive victories in his previous HK starts this season. More Bountiful was a NZ$38,000 yearling consigned from Little Avondale Stud at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock South Island Sale & his yearling half-sister descends from the great Sheralee (by Sovereign Edition) who won 12 races (from 800-2000m) including the NZ Gr1 Ellerslie Championship Stakes & 5 other Group races.
