6 Aust-Bred Winners In Malaysia

In Malaysia last night, 6 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Selangor:

  • 3YO gelding Jus Beat It (Danish Harmony-Dark Lyric, by Haulpak) won over 1200m for trainer K.H.Ng. Jus Beat It was an $11,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Perth Autumn Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Mighty Triple Ace (Testa Rossa-Brave Scene, by Scenic)  won over 1200m for trainer B.T.Lim. Mighty Triple Ace was passed in for $47,500 as a yearling, consigned by Carbine Vale Thoroughbreds, at the 2006 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 8YO gelding Hattrick (Hurricane Sky-Tai Lass, by Sovereign Red) won over 1200m for trainer John McGillivray. Hattrick was a $20,000 yearling at the 2002 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Gold Lion (Aucash-Marite, by Papal Power) won over 1200m for trainer K.C.Hah. Gold Lion was an $8,000 weanling at the 2005 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently passed-in for NZ$24,000 as a yearling at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock Summer Sale, before later being sold as a NZ$4,000 2YO at the 2006 NZ Bloodstock South Island Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Kingdom Power (Spectrum-Pleasant Mariah, by Storm Cat) won over 1600m for trainer Mohamed Sukri.
  • 5YO gelding Jeram Frankie (Blackfriars-Padmini, by Palace Music) won over 1200m for trainer Frank Maynard. Jeram Frankie was a $50,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Horses-In-Training Sale.
