NZB Yearlings Day-2: NZ$750k Encosta De Lago Colt
Wednesday, 28th January 2009
David Ellis of Te Akau Racing (buying for a syndicate of local & international owners) paid NZ$750,000 for a colt by Coolmore stallion & last season's Australian champion sire Encosta de Lago (the 3rd foal out of stakes-winning 11-year-old Centaine mare Wyndam Special) consigned by Cambridge Stud.
