Battlefield (ridden by Daniel Ganderton for trainer Paul Messara) defeated 6YO gelding Wasted Emotions (Desert Prince-Emotional Moments, by Salieri) & evergreen 9YO gelding Mitanni (Danewin-And A Hug, by Ivor Prince). Battlefield (a $300,000 yearling consigned by Glentree Downs at the 2007 Inglis Premier Sale in Melbourne) now has 4 wins & a placing from 6 starts for $117,250 earnings.
