Presious Passion Wins US Gr1 United Nations Stakes

The 6YO gelding Presious Passion (Royal Anthem-Princesa's Passion, by Marquetry) handed in a faultless front-running display to dominate his rivals by 2-lengths in the US$750,000 United Nations Handicap (11 furlongs) on turf at Monmouth Park.  Presious Passion (ridden by Elvis Trujillo for trainer Mary Hartmann) defeated German raider & 6YO entire Lauro (Monsun-Laurencia, by Shirley Heights) & 8YO gelding Brass Hat (Prized-Brassy, by Dixie Brass). According to thoroughbredtimes.com, Presious Passion took almost 2 seconds off the previous course record for the 11 furlongs.
