Tomorrow's Listed Belmont Classic (2200m) at Belmont Park in Perth has 4 runners representing South Australian-based Lindsay Park Stud. Journey was bred by Lindsay Park Stud and was a $40,000 yearling at the 2007 Adelaide Magic Millions Sale. 3YO gelding Mega Steel (Helenus-Cabernet Queen, by Marauding) has 2 wins & 3 placings including his run in the Listed Belmont Guineas (1600m) in Perth where he ran a close second; dam Cabernet Queen is owned by Lindsay Park Stud with partners Darren Thomas and Peter Walsh. 3YO gelding Snow Symphony (Distant Music-The Ex Files, by Distant Music), a $46,000 yearling at the 2007 Perth Magic Millions Yearling Sale (bred & consigned by Lindsay Park), has 2 wins & 1 placing. Lindsay Park Stud stallions Real Jester and Face Value have been making their presence felt in Western Australia through their progeny with 3YOs Lead Rope (4 wins & 3 placings) and Fun Spice (4 wins & 1 placing) and 2YO Face Of Mercy who ran well in the Perth Magic Millions last preparation. This follows on from the success of 2008 Perth Magic Millions winner Amelia's Reason (Rory's Jester-Tycoon Miss, by Last Tycoon) who was bred and sold by Lindsay Park Stud for $100,000 to Lou Luciani at the 2007 Perth sales.
