5 Aust-Breds Win In Macau

Including Nittan's Crown's Gr2 win (see above) 5 Australian-breds scored at Taipa:

  • 5YO gelding Kuroda (Catbird-Broken Princess, by Mr Henrysee) won over 1200m for trainer M.C.Tam. Kuroda was a $22,500 yearling at the 2005 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 2YO gelding Happy Gladiator (Viscount-Church On Sunday, by Bubble Gum Fellow) won over 1000m for Australian trainer Gary Moore. Happy Gladiator was a $57,500 yearling at the 2008 Inglis/Pitt & Son Scone Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Southern Pioneer (Sequalo-Stay Me Broke, by Virginia Privateer) won over 1400m for trainer Stephen Leung.
  • 3YO gelding Phenom King (Danzero-Smytzer's Century, by Geiger Counter) won over 1400m for trainers P.C.Kan & K.C.Tse. Phenom King was a $150,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney
