Monday, 13th July 2009

In Macau, Coolmore shuttler Danehill Dancer (Danehill-Mira Adonde, by Sharpen Up) added a group success when Australian-bred 5YO gelding Nittan's Crown (Danehill Dancer-Royal Subject, by Kingmambo) scored by a head in the Gr2 Macau Cup (1500m) at Taipa. Nittan's Crown (ridden by Australian jockey Brent Stanley for Australian trainer Geoff Allendorf) defeated 5YO gelding Si Foo (Fusaichi Pegasus-Ascension, by Night Shift) & 7YO gelding Palace General (O'Reilly-La Cent, by Centaine). Nittan's Crown (a $180,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast) now has 2 wins & 4 placings (including March's Gr2 Director's Cup over 1500m at Taipa) from 11 starts.
