In Macau 8 Australian-breds scored at Taipa:

  • 5YO mare Coralconstellation (Redding-Scot's Lassie, by Salmon Leap) won over 1050m for trainer H.Y. Cheng/Tony P.H. Chan. Coralconstellation was a $30,000 2YO at the 2005 Inglis Victorian Ready-To-Run Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Afford (Anabaa-Solo Show, by Dahar) won over 1500m for trainer K.S.Cheong. Afford was a $110,000 yearling at the 2004 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 6YO gelding Sigson (More Than Ready-Miss Mombo Queen, by Kingmambo) won over 1600m for Australian trainer Peter Leyshan. Sigson was passed-in as a yearling for $40,000 at the 2004 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 5YO gelding Mr Flash (Secret Savings-Pronto Cash, by Broad Brush) won over 1300m for trainer K.C. Hoi. Mr Flash was a $20,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Chimera (Iglesia-Vice Anglais, by Slew O Gold) won over 1200m for trainer V.Chong. Chimera was a $16,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale & subsequently a $40,000 2YO at the 2004 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Twining Ocean Star (Encosta de Lago-Uccello, by Bluebird) won over 1800m for Australian trainer Peter Leyshan. Twining Ocean Star was a $220,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
  • 2YO gelding Happy General (Canny Lad-Winged Hope, by Personal Hope) won over 1200m for trainer Gary Moore. Happy General was a $55,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
