Jacqueline Rouge Wins Tattersall's Mile

Rangal Park Stud stallion Ne Coupez Pas (Nureyev-Soundings, by Mr Prospector) added a black-type success when 5YO mare Jacqueline Rouge (Ne Coupez Pas-Northeast Sheila, by Keltrice) won the $75,000 Listed Tattersall's Mile (1600m) at Eagle Farm in Brisbane. Jacqueline Rouge (ridden by Stathi Katsidis for trainer Tony Noonan) defeated 5YO gelding Ab Almalik (Al Akbar-Ledahead, by Jugalug) & 4YO gelding Crossthestart (Cape Cross-Startling Lady, by Gold And Ivory. Jacqueline Rouge (a $80,000 yearling at the 2005 Inglis Classic Sale) took her record to 6 wins & 7 placings (also including June's Gr3 Patinack Farm Dane Ripper Stakes over 1400m for fillies & mares at Eagle Farm & last November's Listed Herald-Sun Stakes over 1400m for mares 4YO & up at Flemington) from 33 starts for $422,300 earnings.
