Walmac Sires To Serve Southern Hemisphere Time

Friday, 24th July 2009

US-based Walmac Farm stallions Successful Appeal (Valid Appeal-Successful Dancer, by Fortunate Prospect) & Songandaprayer (Unbridled's Song-Alizea, by Premiership) will both stand for the duration of the southern hemisphere breeding season, reports thoroughbredtimes.com. Both stallions will stand for US$8,500 (A$10,390). Walmac's managing director John T.L. Jones III commented: "Walmac has long had extensive dealings in South America and Australia/New Zealand, and we are pleased to offer both Songandaprayer and Successful Appeal to a more international audience... However, since we are keeping our marquee stallions here in Kentucky to minimize the travel risk, we have made the fees very attractive, which should help attract southern hemisphere breeders wanting to tap into top North American bloodlines."
