In Malaysia, 6 Australian-breds scored at Selangor:

  • 7YO gelding Hurricane Silence (Hurricane Sky-Clear Image, by Diesis) won over 1400m for trainer Peter Lee. Hurricane Silence was a $15,000 yearling at the 2003 Magic Millions Adelaide Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Summer Surprise (Nediym-Bansha, by College Chapel) won over 1400m for trainer James Brogan. Summer Surprise was a $5,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale & subsequently a $14,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses In Training Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Eastern King (Iglesia-Remouche, by Twig Moss) won over 1400m for trainer Kevin Coetzee. Eastern King was an $85,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Summer Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Tiger General (Numerous Times-Beautiful Dyna, by Dynamo) won over 1200m for trainer Tony Yeoh. Tiger General was a $9,000 yearling at the 2007 Magic Millions Perth Autumn Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Jeram Happiness (Marooned-Sadie's Date, by Snippets) won over 1400m for trainer Frank Maynard. Jeram Happiness was passed in for $44,000 as a yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Ruling Power (Viscount-Vintage Power, by Danehill) won over 1400m for trainer Evelyn Seet. Ruling Power was a $210,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Premier Sale on the Gold Coast.
