Vinery Stud shuttler More Than Ready (Southern Halo-Woodman's Girl, by Woodman) added a black-type success when favoured 3YO filly Augusta Proud (More Than Ready-Kadasha, by Langfuhr) won the $70,000 Listed Dermody Lightning Stakes (1050m) for 2 & 3YOs at Morphettville. Augusta Proud (ridden by Chad Lever for trainer Leon MacDonald) defeated fellow 3YO filly Cerberus Gal (General Nediym-Idesa Bay, by Civic Hope) & 2YO filly Orbitting Belle (Spinning World-Flying Belle, by Flying Spur).
