1st Winner For US Freshman Sire Strive

US Gr2-placed 10-year-old freshman stallion Strive (Deputy Minister-Symbolically, by Flying Paster) recorded both his 1st winner & 1st stakes-winner when 2YO colt Wolf Tail (Strive-Bright Sunday, by Dynaformer) won the US$100,000 Listed Graduation Stakes (5.5 furlongs on all-weather) at Del Mar in California for trainer Doug O'Neill. His sire Strive (a half-relation to 4 black-type winners including Gr1 winner Pirate's Revenge & multiple graded stakes-placed winner Sweet Life, dam of multiple Gr1-winning champion Sweet Catomine) won 4 of 24 starts (plus 3rd in the 2003 Gr2 New Orleans Handicap) & earned US$287,910; he stood his 1st season in 2006 at Pepper Oaks Farm in California.
