Thursday, 17th September 2009

Irish National Stud chief executive John Clarke "announced his intention to leave after almost 27 years with the County Kildare organisation," reported racingpost.com. Clarke confirmed: "For some time I have been considering going out on my own as a bloodstock consultant & I feel the time is now right, as the stud has had so many successes in the last few years." Clarke "also acts as bloodstock adviser to Christopher Tsui, whose family bred & races Sea The Stars & there was speculation he would adopt a fuller role with the family's bloodstock interests".
