Vettori Adds Brazil Black-Type

In South America, former Baramul Stud shuttler Vettori (Machiavellian-Air Distingue, by Sir Ivor) added a Brazilian black-type success when 5YO entire Biologo (Vettori-Heroic Move, by Clackson) won the Listed Classico Antonio Da Silva Prado (2400m on turf) for 4YOs & up at Cidade Jardim in Sao Paulo. Biologo (ridden by Mario Fontoura for trainer Marcos Campos) defeated 4YO entire Inverno (Uapybo-Landirana, by Bin Ajwaad) & 6YO entire Fafo (Burooj-Tuurquesa, by Proper Reality). Previously this year, Biologo also won August's Listed Grande Premio Taca Cidade Maravilhosa (2400m) at Hipodromo La Gavea & finished runner-up in April's Gr3 Gran Premio Oswaldo Arhana (2400m) at Cidade Jardim. During 2008 he notched black-type placings in each of the Gr1 Grande Premio Brasil (2400m) at Gavea, Gr1 Grande Premio Sao Paulo (2400m) at Cidade Jardim, Gr3 Grande Premio Linneo De Paula Machado (2000m) at Cidade Jardim, Gr3 Grande Premio Natal (1900m) at Cidade Jardim & Listed Classico Antonio Da Silva Prado (2400m) at Cidade Jardim. And during 2007 Biologo won the Listed Classico Emerson (2400m) at Cidade Jardim, as well as finishing runner-up in both the Gr1 Grande Premio Derby Paulista (2400m) at Cidade Jardim & Gr2 Grande Premio Consagracao (2800m) at Cidade Jardim.
