5 Aust-Bred Winners In Hong Kong

In Hong Kong last night, 5 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Sha Tin (click on the horse name to watch each race):

  • 5YO gelding Implied Volatility (Flying Spur-Jeune Girl) won over 1200m for trainer Alex Wong. Implied Volatility was a $60,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Classic Sale in Sydney.
  • 5YO gelding Wasabisabi (Fusaichi Pegasus-Patronella) won over 1000m for Australian trainer David Hall. Wasabisabi was a $140,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 4YO gelding Brave Spirit (Red Ransom-Ain't She A Daisy) won over 1600m for trainer Tony Cruz. Brave Spirit was a $240,000 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney.
  • 8YO gelding Fujian Prince (Desert King-Perfect Portrait) won over 1800m for trainer Tony Millard. Fujian Prince was a $25,000 yearling at the 2003 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Young Elite (Genunie-Queen Carey) won over 1600m for trainer Caspar Fownes. Young Elite was a $50,000 yearling at the 2006 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
