Blind Luck Wins Us Gr1 Oak Leaf Stakes

Juvenile filly Blind Luck (Pollard's Vision-Lucky One, by Best Of Luck) scored a 2.5-lengths victory in the US$300,000 Gr1 Oak Leaf Stakes (8.5 furlongs on all-weather) for 2YO fillies at Santa Anita Park in California. Blind Luck (ridden by Tyler Baze for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer) defeated Always A Princess (Leroidesanimaux-Gabriellina Giof, by Ashkalani) & Canadian-bred Bickersons (Silver Deputy-Dancehall Floozy, by Paramount Jet). Blind Luck (a US$11,000 yearling at the 2008 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July Sale) now has 3 wins & a runner-up (in September's Gr1 Darley Debutante Stakes over 7 furlongs at Del Mar) from 4 starts for US$267,900 earnings.
