Shamoline Warrior Wins UCI Stakes

European champion 4-time Gr1-winning Darley shuttle stallion Shamardal (Giant's Causeway-Helsinki, by Machiavellian) added a black-type success when his colt Shamoline Warrior (Shamardal-Picholine, by Dehere) scored a long-neck victory in the $150,000 Listed UCI Stakes (1800m) for 3YOs at Flemington. Shamoline Warrior (ridden by Damien Oliver for trainer Mark Kavanagh) defeated fellow colts Saint Encosta (Encosta de Lago-St Katherine, by Barathea) & favourite Tribunal (Encosta de Lago-Triattica, by Centaine). Shamoline Warrior (a $60,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale) now has 2 wins & a runner-up from 5 starts for $119,375 earnings.
