UK Tatts Yearlings Day-1: $665k Sadler's Wells Filly
Newmarket trainer Jeremy Noseda out-bid French agent Crispin de Moubray & paid 350,000 guineas (A$665,000) for a filly from the final crop of Sadler's Wells (out of Listed-placed Danehill mare Shastye) consigned from the Jacobs family's Newsells Park Stud. The filly is a grand-daughter of Champion Italian mare Saganeca (dam of Gr1 Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Sagamix & Gr1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner Sagacity). Noseda told racingpost.com: "She's been bought for an existing owner in my yard & I'm delighted to have her. She could go on & make a broodmare & is by a great stallion."
