UK Tatts Yearlings Day-1: $760k Holy Roman Emperor Filly
Coolmore principal John Magnier paid 400,000 guineas (A$760,000) for a 1st-crop filly by dual Gr1-winning Coolmore shuttler Holy Roman Emperor (out of Black Tie Affair mare Starlight Dreams) consigned from Paul Shanahan's Ashtown House Stud in Ireland. The filly is a half-sister to this year's Gr1 Irish 2000 Guineas winner Mastercraftsman & her year-older sibling Famous topped last year's Goffs Million Sale when bought by the Coolmore team for €1 million (A$1.7m).
