In Malaysia, 15 Australian-bred gallopers scored at Selangor:

  • 8YO gelding Eastern Fighter (Land Speed Record-Sucette, by Ron Bon) won over 1400m for trainer Ponnampalam Kumaran. Eastern Fighter was a $4,600 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Perth Winter Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Confrere (Bianconi-Treen, by Twig Moss) won over 1100m for trainer James Brogan. Confrere was a $9,000 yearling at the 2008 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale & subsequently a $38,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 4YO gelding Battle Lord (Delago Brom-Zanzibari, by Mighty Avalanche) won over 1400m for trainer G.N.Seet. Battle Lord was a $57,500 yearling at the 2007 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 6YO gelding Smiling Melang (Dexter-Sweet Mouza, by Bao Lack) won over 1400m for trainer Cecil Robert. Smiling Melang was a $26,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 8YO gelding Royal Bay (Fasliyev-Reem Albaraari, by Sadler's Wells) won over 1400m for trainer Richard Lines. Royal Bay was passed-in as a yearling for $70,000 at the 2003 Inglis Easter Sale in Sydney & was subsequently a $145,000 purchase at the 2003 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 7YO gelding Ghost Writer (Dr Johnson-Bernadette, by Chanteclair) won over 2000m for Australian trainer Frank Maynard. Ghost Writer was a $15,000 yearling at the 2004 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Open Fire (Moon Rocket-Mackillop, by Gielgud) won over 1400m for trainer Malcolm Thwaites. Open Fire was a $6,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Summer Sale & subsequently an $11,000 2YO at the 2006 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Laugh Heartily (Umatilla-Blevic Lass, by Blevic) won over 1400m for trainer Kevin Coetzee. Laugh Heartily was a $16,000 weanling at the 2005 Inglis Victorian June Sale & subsequently a $30,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 3YO gelding Darwin (Fantastic Light-Magical Wand, by Diesis) won over 1400m for trainer James Brogan. Darwin was a $16,000 yearling at the 2008 Magic Millions Winter Sale & subsequently a $30,000 2YO at the 2008 Magic Millions Queensland Horses-In-Training Sale.
  • 8YO gelding Light Of Liberty (Bletchley Park-Western Symbol,  by Mr Export) won over 1400m for trainer James Brogan. Light Of Liberty was a $26,000 yearling at the 2003 Magic Millions Perth Premier Sale.
  • 7YO mare My Darlin Angel (Irish Royal-Pashionia, by Rory's Jester) won over 1400m for trainer Hoy Kee Poh. My Darlin Angel was a $9,000 yearling at the 2005 Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale.
  • 7YO mare Why Why West (Spartacus-Lover's Chariot, by Zephyr Zip) won over 1400m for trainer Prakhash Pereira. Why Why West was passed-in for $11,500 as a yearling at the 2004 Inglis Victorian Autumn Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Mighty Triple Ace (Testa Rossa-Brave Scene, by Scenic) won over 1200m for trainer Lim Boon Thong. Mighty Triple Ace was passed-in as a yearling for $47,500 at the 2006 Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Kaka (Shot Of Thunder-Swingers Club, by Naturalism) won over 1400m for trainer Tony Yeoh. Kaka was a $3,500 weanling at the 2005 Inglis Australian Select Sale & subsequently a $16,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Autumn Sale.
  • 5YO gelding Ace Wonder (Partners Choice-Cachet Amour, by Family Ties) won over 1800m for trainer Evert Van Bruekelen. Ace Wonder was a $7,000 yearling at the 2006 Magic Millions Tasmanian Sale & subsequently passed-in as a 2YO for $10,000 at the 2006 Magic Millions Perth Horses-In-Training Sale.
