Claiborne Cuts US Star Pulpit's Fee 25%

In Kentucky, the Hancock family's Claiborne Farm announced its 2010 stud fees, with star stallion Pulpit cut 25% (from US$80,000 to US$60,000). In addition Claiborne confirmed all stallion books will be limited to 100 mares. The 2010 Claiborne roster is:

  • US$60,000 Pulpit (A.P.Indy-Preach, by Mr Prospector) down from US$80,000
  • US$30,000 First Samurai (Giant's Causeway-Freddie Frisson, by Dixieland Band) same
  • US$25,000 Arch (Kris S-Aurora, by Danzig) same
  • US$10,000 Political Force (Unbridled's Song-Glitter Woman, by Glitterman) down from $12,500
  • US$10,000 War Front (Danzig-Starry Dreamer, by Rubiano) down from US$12,500
  • US$7,500 Stroll (Pulpit-Maid For Walking, by Prince Sabo) returning for 2010
  • US$6,500 Horse Greeley (Mr Greeley-Chile Chatte, by Storm Cat) down from $7,500
  • US$5,000 Flatter (A.P.Indy-Praise, by Cormorant) same
  • US$5,000 Out Of Place (Cox's Ridge-Arabian Dancer, by Damascus) same
